  • This marks the company’s sixth time awarded to the prestigious list
  • Continental’s inclusion on the list places it amongst the best of the best of large U.S.  employers
  • America’s Best Large Employers is a benchmark that ranks companies on employee experience, including career development and workplace culture

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 17, 2022 – Technology company and leading automotive supplier Continental has been named, once again, as one of America’s Best Large Employers for 2022 by Forbes magazine. This is the sixth time Continental has been named to this prestigious list for its efforts in supporting the employee experience. Continental’s mission is to create a healthy and productive work environment where team members feel challenged, are easily able to balance life outside the office and are encouraged to be part of the company’s growth.

“Being continuously recognized among America’s best large employers reaffirms Continental’s commitment to its employees. Through career development and growth opportunities to a flexible work style, Continental offers a range of benefits to help support employees professionally and personally,” said Grace Hu, Head of Human Relations, Continental, North America. “Continental has an employee-centric culture focused on cultivating an inclusive work environment that aims to foster awareness and understanding through various diversity and inclusion initiatives. This culture has led to a more engaged and passionate workforce. We are proud to maintain our status on such a impressive list.”

Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to compile this year’s list by surveying approximately 60,000 U.S.-based employees working for companies with more than 1,000 workers. Participants were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family, and to nominate organizations other than their own. The final list ranks the 500 large employers that received the most recommendations.

Continental continues to be recognized nationally as an employer of choice. Most recently, Continental was named as a 2021-2022 Certified Great Place to Work®. In 2020, Fortune magazine named the company one of the 18 Best Big Companies to Work For – and the only manufacturing company to make the prestigious list. The company has also been named a 2020 Fairygodboss Best Company for Women, one of America’s Best Employers for Diversity by Forbes (2019) and among Fortune’s Most Admired Companies multiple times. These recognitions reinforce Continental’s inclusive company culture worldwide.
