The Jefferson County Development Corporation recognized two outgoing board members this week for serving our community and guiding the organization. Sharon Bradham and Kerry Swanson represent Cedarhurst Center for the Arts and SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital respectively; organizations with permanent seats on JCDC.
Sharon Bradham – Cedarhurst Center for the Arts
Sharon Bradham, Executive Director of Cedarhurst Center for the Arts, will retire this April. She served as a charter board member since JCDC started back in 2006, has served as Board President from 2010 to 2011, and served in numerous committee roles as well. Bradham will retire from Cedarhurst Center for the Arts in April of this year. She will serve on the JCDC board until that time. To commemorate her retirement and thank her for her many years of service, JCDC presented Sharon with a personalized jacket during our March Partner Luncheon. Sharon has been a constant community servant and her leadership on JCDC’s board will be sorely missed.
Kerry Swanson – SSM Health of Southern Illinois
Kerry Swanson was a recent arrival to our board. She became Regional President and CEO of SSM Health of Southern Illinois in 2017. That is when she joined JCDC as the successor to Mike Warren on our board. Swanson has accepted an opportunity to lead operations at one of SSM’s hospitals in Wisconsin. She has ceded her board seat to Jeremy Bradford, the interim President of SSM Good Samaritan Hospital. While she could not stay long, Swanson served on the JCDC Executive Team as Board Secretary. We wish her great success in continued leadership of SSM and the care of others.
Thanks to both of these fantastic board members for their service to the community. And best wishes for the coming chapters of their respective journeys.
