Tourism The mission of the Mt. Vernon Convention and Visitors Bureau is to enhance the economy of Mt. Vernon by attracting visitors for overnight stays through conventions, events, and leisure travel attractions. The Mt. Vernon Convention and Visitors Bureau is located in the Municipal Building at 200 Potomac Blvd. and provides a visitors center at that location. The JCDC, State Treasurers Office and Chamber of Commerce also have offices within the Municipal Building.
