The home sales for Jefferson County in the 4th Quarter of 2006 showed a marked improvement over the 4th Quarter sales of 2005.  The average price of homes sold rose 7.1% to $109,509 for the 4th Quarter of 2006.

The home sales for the State of Illinois rose 9.6 % for April 2007 compared to March 2007.  This is the third consecutive month home sales have improved over the previous month.  Jefferson County continues to follow the state trend.
