Community Hospital have won prestigious awards for their
services and they continue to improve delivery of health
care in our region.
Good Samaritan Regional Health Center

for Cancer Care in Mount Vernon.
The Mount Vernon campus serves as the Regional Resource Facility
of emergency medical service for nine counties in Southern
Illinois. They have an established disaster plan to
provide treatment for burns, chemical exposure/respiratory
distress, and other traumas or industrial hazards. www.smgsi.org
